This watch belonged to my father-in-law, Philip J. McDonald.
In 1961 it was presented to him by The Budd Company for 35 years of faithful service.
Catherine found it the other day amongst her mother's things.She wound it up and it works perfectly.
Just have to remember to wind it up once a day.

G. M. Wheeler Steampunk Vintage Button Necklace
The Elgin National Watch Company, founded in 1864 in Elgin, Illinois, produced a number of different grades of watches, one of which (highly collectible today) was G.M. Wheeler. This steampunk necklace incorporates a brass plate from a G.M. Wheeler watch, as well as other gears and cogs, along with a vintage button.
